This design is based on the concept of interaction, which is formulated through the idea of isolation due to the corona virus for social distancing. This has forced a new interpretation of the catwalk or runway for designers, one in which can have viewers intrigued from a distance, yet still form an interaction with the design, brand and clothing.
This is highlighted through the design below which uses glass perspex as a barrier for the interior and exterior of the runway, giving them a path to walk through as if they were in a confined walkway, which is to promote segregation and safety through each model never crossing paths. This finally is versatile in its design through the chosen material which can also opt for holographic views if models cannot be used, making it adaptable to our constantly changing climate.
